Professional Research Assistant

The Behavioral Health and Wellness Program (www.bhwellness.org) is looking for a skilled program coordinator to perform a variety of organizational and program management tasks. This individual will help to plan and administer programs and activities as well as carry out important operational and research duties. Some of these include:

1) Training:

a. Communicate with training sites
b. Schedule training rooms, trainers, catering
c. Monitor registration payments/numbers
d. Print/ship training materials
e. Update training databases/mailing lists
f. Correspond with past trainees

2) Operational:

a. Responsible for processing new hires/terminations
b. Collect/maintain record of leave hours, submit monthly
c. Manage employees' expenses, generate reports
d. Arrange travel and process reports
e. Order and maintain office supplies including ordering training materials
f. Website management: updating weekly with new content, maintaining webpages, and updating materials

3) Materials Development


a. Collaborate with PI/Senior PRA(s) to develop educational training programs/manuals/toolkits/presentations/fact sheets, etc.
b. Conduct literature searches to assist Senior PRA(s) in developing materials
c. Prepare research manuscripts/presentations for PI/Senior PRA(s)
d. Perform editing tasks on resources including editing for content, errors, and formatting
e. Design resources via software
f. Manage document versions and database

4) Research/Data Management:

a. Assist in developing/disseminating/managing research surveys/questionnaires
b. Develop/maintain research databases
c. Maintain training database on website and email

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Advanced skills in editing for grammar and content as well as an eye for formatting (attention to small details)
  • Demonstrated ability using Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to create professional documents and graphics
  • Experience with formatting documents according to APA style (and other citation guidelines)


Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of University of Colorado software systems including HCM, CU Marketplace, and Concur
