The NEP Programming Project Coordinator position functions as a productive member of the SNAP-Ed Nutrition Education Program Team to manage implementation of multi-county projects including but not limited to those addressing nutrition, food preparation, food preservation and healthy lifestyle choices. Coordinates implementation of project activities including development of partnerships and strategies specific to target audience; test, analyze, and revise materials; and conduct program evaluation. Responsibilities include project planning and implementation, communication of outcomes, training and supervision of employees, and providing technical support. This position is grant funded and is contingent upon future funding.

Physical Requirements

This position requires occasional lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds. Occasional loading/unloading of materials for conferences.


Primarily Monday through Friday, some weekends and evening activities may be required as needed.


Familiarity with concept of social marketing, willingness to expand knowledge base.

Preferred Education/Experience

Experience in management, teaching, supervision and/or Cooperative Extension Service preferred.

Driver's license preferred.
