The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville seeks a full-time fellowship-trained breast radiologist to join the Division of Women's Imaging. This is a non-tenure track faculty position with appointment at the rank of assistant or associate professor. 

Responsibilities include coverage of the breast radiology clinical services, including screening and diagnostic mammography (2D and 3D tomosynthesis), ultrasound and breast MRI. Expertise in all image-guided procedures is required, including those using US, stereotactic and MRI guidance. Pre-surgical image-guided 1-125 seed localization and breast lymphoscintigraphy are routinely performed. Breast radiologists staff three UF Health breast center locations on a rotating basis. In addition, some coverage of general radiology clinical services is required.  The breat radiologists also participate in the weekend call pool.

The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges - medicine, nursing and pharmacy - located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus. The college's 15 clinical science departments house more than 400 faculty members and 300 residents and fellows. The college offers 32 accredited graduate medical education programs. In addition to graduate medical education, clinical rotations in all the major disciplines are provided for students from the UF College of Medicine in Gainesville.

For practicing physicians, the college offers a continuing medical education program that recruits national and international speakers who are well known and respected in their fields. The campus' faculty, residents and fellows are active in clinical research. College residents and fellows regularly present their findings at locations across the country and publish their projects in well-known publications.

Once completed in mid-2017, UF Health North will be the only hospital in North Jacksonville, providing state-of-the-art medical services for residents of northern Duval County, Nassau County and Southeast Georgia.

Advertised Salary:

Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.  

Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have a license to practice medicine in the state of Florida, be Board Certified / Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, and meet the qualifications for full-time faculty position at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Jacksonville. Preferred Qualifications:

Fellowship training is preferred.
