Essential functions of this position:
The community engagement programs registration assistant assists the registration manager with the system used by the public to register for community engagement programs that are offered across campus at UNCW.
N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Ability to utilize effective communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills to work cohesively in a team environment, with the ability to understand and represent the position and priorities of the registrar
Ability to work effectively despite numerous interruptions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Web Content Management Systems
Must have strong attention to detail
Understanding of databases, data procedures and data administration
Preferred education, professional skills and experience:
Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree and two years of related office experience preferred
Recruitment Range: $27,355 - $34,194
NC Salary Grade Equivalency: 59
Hours Per Week: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
Months Per Year: 12 Months
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
