German Studies Instructor
Cornell College, a private undergraduate liberal arts college, invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach German 102 in the Spring 2018 semester. Cornell College is a selective liberal arts college distinguished by its One Course At A Time calendar, under which faculty teach, and students take, one course at a time in month-long terms.
GER 102. Beginning German II (January 15 February 7, 2018)
Introduction to speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension in German. Facility in speaking and understanding spoken German is stressed. Readings emphasize culture, literature and contemporary life in the German-speaking countries. German 102 is the second course in a three-course sequence of Beginning German.

We are especially interested in advanced graduate students looking to expand their teaching portfolios by teaching at a liberal arts college. Candidates should possess or be in the process of completing a Ph.D. in German, German Studies, or a related field; candidates with an MA may be considered.
