Digital Marketing Coordinator / Social media

About The Role:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator / Social Media will play a crucial role as part of the Marketing Team at Freshpair. This position will be responsible for developing the social media platform strategy, creating social content, writing social copy, managing social media communities, and inspiring consumers to become Freshpair fans. The content strategies should excite consumers about the Freshpairs product assortment for both Women and Men, and engage consumers enough to share content and talk about the brand.

Freshpair is looking for someone who is passionate about Underwear - Fashion - Ecommerce. The ideal candidate will be incredibly resourceful, self-motivated, creative while also able to adhere to overall brand strategy, collaborative, and open to juggling many responsibilities against tight deadlines, which comes with working at an exciting Underwear Fashion start-up. He/she should love creative writing, bring new ideas to the table, have experience in social media marketing and video, be socially savvy, and also have expert knowledge of key social platforms with a focus on Facebook and Instagram. The brand needs someone who is willing to roll-up-their-sleeves, grab an iPhone, camera or video recorder and capture footage when they see a great content opportunity and pitch in to support other Marketing activities.


• Pitch content ideas in line with social platform content strategies

• Maintain master social content calendar

• Create content ideas that support brand KPIs and overall integrated marketing plan involving consumer engagement, PR, influencers, e-commerce, and paid social media programs

• Create posts that inspire users to comment and share, including writing engaging copy in brand voice

• Be up-to-date on social media ad formats

• Develop paid and non-paid influencer strategies (both paid and non-paid)

• Draft directional, informative briefs for Art Director and creative partners when applicable

• At times, source and manage and collaborate with internal and external videographers / photographers / editors and graphic designers to plan and produce content

• Potentially be public face of brand and moderate Facebook Live, appear in brand video, or moderate a Twitter chat

• Reply directly to user comments on social media outlets or assign replies to appropriate internal stakeholders (e.g., the Customer Service Center, Product Experts or Specialists)

• Engage in social listening that will help inform brand strategies and add to consumer insights data

• Be engaged in overall Marketing strategy development and take on some of the key operational tasks related to our Marketing programs

About You:

• College-educated; Bachelor's Degree required, preferable in Digital Media Marketing or Marketing, Communications / Creative field also a plus

• 3+ years' experience working in social media; Fashion or Beauty brand preferred but not required

• Experience at a direct-to-consumer/social selling company preferred

• Knowledge of Photoshop is a plus

• Must be detail oriented and have strong attention to detail

• Must be collaborative and solution-oriented

• Must have the ability to juggle many tasks, wear many hats, and adapt to change
