Job Summary/Basic Function:
This postdoctoral researcher will be a critical member of the Kaul Research Group at UNT whose research will include analyzing the optical and electronic properties of nanomaterials and nanodevices emerging from WSe2 and 2D perovskites.

Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering or closely related field

Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a track record of research accomplishments in his/her field through publications and patents, good written and oral communication skills, and demonstrated experience with one or more of the following: broadband and/or narrow-band opto-electronic measurements including determining quantum efficiency, IR detector response, solar cells, bolometers, design, characterization and integration of plasmonic structures with nanomaterials.
