Responsibilities

This position is one of two full-time, tenure-earning faculty positions at the Assistant Professor rank being offered beginning in the Fall of 2018. Successful candidates will be expected to conduct research, teach students, and contribute professional service. (By applying to this position, candidates will be applying to both open positions)

Qualifications

Applicants must have a doctorate in social work or related field. ABD candidates who will complete doctorates prior to the position start date also will be considered. Candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to teaching, research, external funding, and professional service.

Preferred

The College is seeking candidates with research agendas that can contribute to collaborative research in the demonstrably fundable areas of translational and intervention research (i.e., behavioral health services, criminal justice, health services, and addiction research). Preference will be given to candidates with a MSW degree.
