Biology (Assistant Professor) - College of Liberal Arts & Science
Required Qualifications and Education:
Ph.D. in Aquatic Ecology or related aquatic science field, commitment to excellent teaching and scholarship.
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
postdoctoral experience, ability to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment, expertise in phycology/algal taxonomy.
Responsibilities – Essential Functions:
Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate-level Freshwater Algae, Limnology, and other undergraduate and graduate courses in the applicant’s areas of expertise. Faculty members also advise undergraduate and graduate students; actively engage in scholarship and professional development; serve on academic committees; and participate in community engagement.
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
