Assistant Professor – Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management

The Department of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management (IEEM) at Western New England University seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in August 2018. The IEEM department offers BS in Industrial Engineering, MS in Industrial Engineering as well as Engineering Management, and PhD in Engineering Management.

Candidates for this position must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or a closely aligned field.  Candidates should have an established record of active research that has/can lead to externally funded research and publication.  The IEEM Department is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the areas of: engineering supply chain; and enterprise resource planning.  A successful candidate is expected to (1) teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management; (2) supervise PhD students; (3) and establish an active funded research program.
