PART TIME Position: 20 hours per week

Occupational Summary

Perform a variety of duties to assist investigators in the collection, verification and compilation of research information.

Work Performed
  • Perform a variety of routine clerical, research and data processing duties to assist investigators in the gathering and compiling of research data for an intervention that takes place in Durham, Alamance and Guilford Counties.
  • Compile and verify the accuracy of research information to determine acceptability based on quality criteria defined by control procedures; abstract, classify and code data.
  • Administer individual or group standardized tests; score tests by hand or machine using predetermined scoring formulas; observe test subject and report behavior and other information that may affect test results.
  • Conduct classroom observations, record answers; compile information and report to investigators.
  • Search library reference materials for necessary research information.
  • Prepare and maintain files of research materials; compile and edit reports.
  • Assist in the compilation and distribution of reports related to research findings.
  • Prepare and type related correspondence; operate office machines as required.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
