Position Summary: Responsibilities include conducting and publishing academic research in high quality journals, generating external research funding, teaching courses in the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs and engaging in service at a level commensurate with the level of faculty appointment.

Minimum Preferred Qualifications: The Culverhouse College of Commerce at The University of Alabama invites applications for two faculty positions in Applied Statistics, at the Associate or Full Professor level, with an expected start date of August 16, 2018. Candidates must hold a Doctorate in Statistics, or a closely related field. Successful candidates will be expected to lead independent and rigorous research in statistics with an emphasis on Data Science or Network Analytics. Preferred candidates will also have interdisciplinary research interests in at least one of the following application areas: energy, water, environment, lifespan, healthcare, cybersecurity, or transportation. Applicants with a track record of externally funded research are strongly preferred. Rank and Salary are commensurate with experience and achievements.
