College of Social Work
This position will be a full-time, tenure track Associate or Full Professor position to begin in the fall of 2018. Specific responsibilities will be assigned at the time of hire.
The College seeks candidates with a significant record of external funding, including public sector government and private foundation grants in the primary research domains of addiction, criminal justice, child welfare or behavioral health; a national reputation in this primary research domain is required. The candidate should possess an excellent publication record and demonstrable, successful management of grants and deliverables, as well as success in mentoring junior faculty and doctoral students.
The position requires a successful record of multidisciplinary research, with a commitment and ability to meaningfully contribute to the operation and growth of a multidisciplinary research center. Candidates must have a history of leading and motivating research teams and working with diverse constituents, including researchers from multiple disciplines, funding sources, university leaders, other decision makers, and the public.
A successful record of teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels is required. Applicants must have a doctorate in social work or related field and research experience commensurate with the Associate/Full Professor level.
