Applications and nominations are invited for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences at California Northstate University College of Pharmacy. The successful applicant is expected to teach pharmacology to Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) students and to initiate and actively participate in a research program in their area of interest, preferably in collaboration with other faculty members at the University. Other responsibilities will include: mentoring students, service to the College and University, and additional responsibilities to advance the College and University.


The ideal candidate should have the following attributes and qualifications:


   A background in pharmacology, preferably in renal, pancreatic, hepatic, oncology, and/or genetics areas


   A Ph.D., PharmD, or equivalent terminal degree;


   Teaching experience in a doctor of pharmacy program;


   Experience in research, scholarship, and obtaining research funding;


    Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and


   Ability to work within a team structure.
