Job Description

Vestal Corporation seeks Sr. Plumbing Designer / Engineer

Types of projects include general manufacturing, including food, beverage (specifically breweries)

Plumbing systems generally include:

- Industrial DWV

- Sanitary DWV (required)

- Fire Protection Concepts

- Potable Water (required)

- Process Water

- Compressed Air

- Natural Gas

- DI/RO water systems

- Fuel Oil Systems

- Laboratory Gases

BIM/CAD production and coordination skills:
- AutoCAD (plus)
- REVIT MEP (plus)

Codes & Standards

- Strong understanding of IPC

- Familiarity with NFPA 13

System Design (in particular for the engineer position)

- Develop plumbing systems concepts per the ASPE Handbooks.

- Size pipes per ASPE Handbooks.

- Material and product selections.

- Maintain design analysis and production/equipment selections in Plumbing Project Manual

Registration and Licensing

- BSME degree is a plus

- PE is a plus
