Ph.D. in Physical Therapy, Physiology, Exercise Physiology or a related field. Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of doctoral degree by August 1, 2018; Ability to teach graduate courses in Physical Therapy with an emphasis on Physiology and Exercise Physiology; Ability to establish scholarly research and supervise student research; demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.
Licensed as a Physical Therapist in California, or be eligible for licensure without necessity for additional supervised clinical work; Two years of Physiology teaching experience with preference for teaching in a Physical Therapy program; an established area of research in area of specialization as demonstrated by published research or scholarly activity; and evidence of multidisciplinary research in physiology or exercise physiology.
