Applications are being sought for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Health Services Research, Management and Policy. Only applicants at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor will be considered, including recent graduates from PhD programs. Applicants must have a doctorate in health services research or a relevant, related discipline. Postdoctoral experience for new graduates is considered a plus. The successful candidate will have a track record of teaching and mentoring students. The department has a particular need for faculty who can teach multiple classes in a Bachelor of Public Health Program and a Bachelor of Health Science Program. Duties will be primarily teaching and service to the department. This position will also be the undergraduate health science honors program director. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month position, expected to start in the Summer of 2018.
Health Services Research, Management and Policy is one of eight departments in the College of Public Health and Health Professions. The department offers a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree program, a PhD in Health Services Research, and the Public Health Management and Policy concentration within the college’s Master of Public Health program.
