Position Description: Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate marketing courses, with preference given to teaching graduate courses such as marketing analytics, digital marketing, and/or marketing strategy in the proposed Master of Science in Marketing Program; conducting and publishing high-quality scholarly research; and providing service to the profession, service to the department, service to McCoy College and the university, and the business community that is consistent with the college mission. Teaching may occur in San Marcos and/or the Round Rock Campus.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in marketing or closely related business field from an AACSB international accredited business school; ABDs will be considered depending on their program completion date. Evidence of published and ongoing scholarly work, demonstrated teaching accomplishments, and interest in and ability to teach courses such as marketing analytics, digital marketing, and/or marketing strategy at the graduate level.
To be eligible for hire at the associate professor rank, candidates must provide evidence of published and ongoing scholarly work, teaching accomplishments, and service responsibilities commensurate with that rank as per standards and requirements established by the college and university.
Preference will be given to candidates who provide evidence of scholarly research, teaching excellence, and professional work experience related to marketing analytics, digital marketing, or marketing strategy.
