Job Description

We are a property management company based in Alhambra seeking a part-time (22-28 hours a week) employee to help manage a portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities:
  • Take the lead with handling maintenance calls and follow up with maintenance workers to ensure work is done in a timely manner. Be on call for any after hours maintenance emergencies.
  • Take the lead on ensuring the vacancies are leased up in a timely manner
  • Attract and educate new tenants on rules and how to properly care for the unit (e.g., prevent mold and bedbug problems)
  • Conduct annual inspections of properties
  • Follow up with inspectors regarding any code violations and ensure these cases are code in a timely manner
  • Assist with writing letters to tenants
  • Assist with inputting data into Yardi
  • Assist with filing
  • Assist with sorting incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail
  • Assist and take lead on special projects as needed
  • Enforce property rules and regulations
  • Ensure commercial tenants provide us with proof of their insurance

Qualifications:
  • Property management experience is preferred
  • Oral and written fluency in Spanish and English is required
  • Experience with Yardi preferred
  • Accounting and bookkeeping experience is a plus
  • Driven and self-motivated individual
  • Flexible
  • Ability multitask and prioritize
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to work more hours when needed

$21-26 depends on experience
