Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for supporting software engineering and technology operations in the implementation of new solutions and ensuring stable and scalable environments.

  • Owning software and services after the initial operating system installation
  • Writing custom code in Bash, Python, and other languages to automate data ingestion workflows and automate system administration tasks
  • Instrumenting systems to monitor availability, performance, and responding to system issues as necessary
  • Participates and may lead management of code, configuration management, and multiple release branches using CI/CD tools
  • Develops techniques for effective comparative testing & benchmarking

  • 2-3 years of experience in DevOps related functions
  • Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, or other programming languages
  • Working knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, Distributed Files Systems, Web Services
  • Experience with container based system (Docker, RKT, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Computing services (e.g. Amazon EC2, S3, etc)
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, networking topology, routers, switches
  • Experience developing CI/CD systems
