Peer Tutor Upward Bound
Upward Bound is a college completion program serving 55 students at East Aurora High School, Aurora IL. Students participate all four years of high school and are offered a variety of college readiness programming. Students are enrolled in regular, honors, and advanced courses.
Assist students in one-on-one and group settings during the after-school or study-hall tutoring sessions.
Assist students with homework, projects, and class assignments.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Special Instructions to Applicants: Tutors are assigned to the Upward Bound site at East Aurora High School or West Aurora High School. Tutoring shifts are Monday - Thursday, 2:30 - 5:00 p.m. Tutors are assigned a set schedule of one or multiple days depending on availability.
Targeted Hire Date: 8/28/2017
Earned high school diploma or equivalent.
Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university (Full-Time or Part-Time).
Completed a minimum of 24 college-level credit hours with a minimum 3.25 GPA at an accredited college or university.
(NOTE - credit for developmental course work is excluded from the 24 college-level hours/GPA requirement)
Proficient in the tutoring subject area.
Good interpersonal skills.
Previous tutoring experience.
Current or former TRIO participant.
