Job Description Summary
Media Arts & Filmmaking
Teaches a range of courses - MARS 1180 Introduction to Media Arts and Filmmaking, MARS 2110 Editing, MARS 2120 Advanced Editing, MARS 2380 Visual Effects, MARS 2480 Motion Graphics, MARS 2780 Motion Graphics II
Bachelor's degree in design or related field with 2 years industry and/or teaching experience. Candidate must be a proficient communicator and presenter and must be proficient with industry-standard equipment and industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Avid media Composer, DaVinci Resolve Lite).
Willingness to learn and/or have experience in the use of instructional technologies to teach traditional, hybrid and/or distance learning classes, and /or as a supplement
Knowledge and skills in a variety of computer usage and software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Bachelor's degree or higher in a media related field. College level teaching experience. Affiliation with related professional organizations. Candidate must be enthusiastic about teaching and working with students, able not only to demonstrate skills, but to work collaboratively with other faculty and students to achieve student success.
Experience and knowledge of set and production etiquette, time management, and asset management skills are desired.

This is a part-time (adjunct) faculty position.
