The Department of Family Medicine is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary team of dedicated healthcare providers and researchers who are committed to providing excellence in clinical care, primary care education, and research. Through innovative curricular designs, early clinical experiences, and mentorship, the Department is focused on producing highly competent, caring, and compassionate Family Medicine physicians, helping reduce the shortage of primary care physicians in our Texas communities.

Position Details
* This posting is an hourly position and is non-benefits eligible.*

The Family Medicine Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Research Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Compile and review literature research to frame research efforts and support the research studies.
* Ability to collect data for the research studies.
* Ability to manipulate data using programming skills to enable statistical analysis.
* Provide statistical programming support for non-clinical statistical research.
* Effectively disseminate the research findings and implications to inner staff and the healthcare professional community.
* Document research procedures for potential research publications.
* Draft reports and write proposals including the research model, findings and implications.
* Accurately calculates dosage inject-able medications.
* Work collaboratively and enable to maintain a positive attitude and cohesive work environment.
* Maintain good, positive working relationship with physicians and staff members.
* Follows all departmental and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:
