Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Senior Director, manage general accounting, monthly reconciling, procurement processing, budget analysis, and student services area.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor's degree in accounting, or business administration and 8 years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of Budgeting, General Ledger, and experience in reconciliations.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Fluency with all Microsoft Office programs Excel and Word. Prefer knowledge of USC policies and procedures (or equivalent non-USC experience), state and Federal laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to business activities of the DMSB. Banner, PeopleSoft and/or USC experience in related areas. Ability to plan, organize and direct complex financial, administrative, and support activities. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships . Ability to communicate effectively.
