The Quality Assurance Coordinator Senior will work with current non-hospital facility coordinators to obtain patient lists of matches with central cancer records. This position will review central records using national guidelines for standard treatment to determine if some treatment may be missing from the Kentucky Cancer Registry records and follows back to non-hospital source to look for any missed treatments.

Other duties include: assisting non-hospital facility abstractors to stay on schedule, help as needed with new central merging system to consolidate cancer sources from various records, and participate in special studies and projects.

Physical Requirements

Sitting in front of computer screen for long periods of time and repetitive motion.


DAYS: generally Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hrs./wk


Basic computer programs such as Word, Excel; advanced computer skills especially with databases preferred.
