The Patient Access Supervisor will provide day to day supervision of PRA staff and Good Samaritan PBX Operators. Responsible for staffing, training, and monitoring of staff. Work with staff and ancillary area's to facilitate patient throughout by decreasing wait times resulting in increased customer satisfaction at Good Samaritan.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); occasional exposure to loud noises, radiation, blood or airborne pathogens, and combative/violent people; and occasional (


Primarily M-F 7a-3:30p, some evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as well.


Requires advanced word processing, office procedures, administrative abilities or database management. Familiarity with budget and finance, customer service and superior interpersonal relations, accuracy of registration and financial information, day to day operations of work-flow, procedures, quality improvement, on call responsibility, inventory and stock. Responsible for work schedules and assignment of duties and able to function in patient relations assistant/associate role.
