MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 	
Ph.D. in the Biological Sciences with training and postdoctoral research
experience in Terrestrial Vertebrate Biology;
A record of research productivity;
Demonstrated ability to seek external research funding;
Demonstrated potential for effective teaching in vertebrate biology;
Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population
	
DESIRED/PREFERRED	
QUALIFICATIONS:	
A strong field-based research programthat includes a cutting-edge
technological or quantitative component;
At least one year of postdoctoral experience;
A record of extramural research support;
Demonstrated potential for effective teaching of courses in ornithology or herpetology as well as vertebrate zoology and statistics;
Demonstrated interest in increasing the participation of underrepresented students in STEM fields.
