Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position in Chemical Engineering

The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The applicant's research can be in all areas of chemical engineering. Preferred starting date is September 1, 2018.


  • Teach both undergraduate and graduate courses
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
  • Contribute significantly to the advancement of basic science and engineering as evidenced by scholarly publications
  • Develop a nationally and internationally recognized program of sponsored research

Minimum Requirements:

  • D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field, outstanding record of research accomplishments, and commitment to excellence in teaching and research

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
