Responsibilities:

The Manager of Strategic Partnerships will lead the successful development of the Major League Baseball (MLB) partnership in cooperation with enrollment management, marketing, and academic leadership. The Manager will lead an implementation team to effectively market, recruit, and enroll target audiences within MLB and serve as the MLB resource for the Professional Advancement Network's enrollment and academic teams. Additionally, the Manager will build and scale partnerships across professional athletic organizations by identifying, initiating, and developing promising opportunities through a deep understanding of the demands of potential partners and leveraging the full portfolio of professional programs at the University.

The Manager must be able to cultivate, manage, and secure high quality, high impact, and productive relationships with professional athletic organizations and build and maintain a dynamic network of internal stakeholders and resources.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree is required, along with a proven track record of 6-8 years of experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales or recruiting strategy. The ideal candidate is comfortable with formal presentations, informal networking and brings strong sales and/or recruitment skills. . Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders. Strong leader with the ability to spearhead new ideas to drive revenue. Flexible, creative thinker open to new ideas and changing priorities within a fast-paced organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think and act both analytically and strategically. The successful candidate will be persuasive and consistent with their judgment and, and bring a passion about helping professional adults further their education. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must, and comfort with attending recruitment activities. Travel is necessary along with schedule flexibility.
