Description:

A Membership Consultant contributes to O2 Fitness's success by promoting our club and company, introducing prospects to the benefits of O2 Fitness and maintaining a positive member experience for increased member retention. As the "O2 Fitness Brand Ambassador", the Membership Consultant is required to operate using our Core Values and apply their talents and creativities to drive the success of O2 Fitness, the sales department, and themselves. Candidates must have a passion for fitness and wellness, and a desire to assist others; helping them live a healthy lifestyle.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed minimum daily goals for:
    • Phone Calls Self-generated Leads Appointments Referrals
  • Cultivate new business by outreach marketing throughout the community and internal prospecting.
  • Provide a memorable experience for current members, as well as assist prospective members to opt for a healthier lifestyle by choosing O2 Fitness.
  • Provide effective membership tours to prospective members by building rapport through the analysis of their personal needs.
  • Attend all department related meetings to enhance sales performance.
  • Complete membership paperwork and sales reports promptly and compliant with O2 Fitness guidelines.
  • Effectively and efficiently handle member situations, concerns, and feedback.
  • Host events and workshops for in-club lead generation


Education/ Experience:
  • Sales
  • Customer service
  • College preferred
  • Current CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications preferred


Qualities for Success:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Personal passion for the brand
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate ongoing projects, and plans
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Extensive knowledge of all club activities and promotions
  • An understanding of health club operations
  • Must be highly motivated


Compensation:

Hourly rate Sales commissions Bonus opportunities
