Advertised Job Summary: To serve as Postdoctoral Fellow under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator conducting research on projects in humoral immunity, inflammation, and microbial pathogenesis. The research will be aimed at determining the mechanistic role of host antibodies in managing the compositional/functional features of resident symbiotic microbial communities in the gut. Advises principal investigators, students, and other laboratory personnel on current methods, ongoing experiments and future research directions. Maintains accurate and detailed records of laboratory experiments and presents these in laboratory discussions, meetings, scientific symposia and publications.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Requires Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, Cell Biology or other related fields of biomedical sciences.
