This position will be primarily based in Morehead, KY. We are seeking to hire a project coordinator who will have the following responsibilities: Coordinates operations between UK and the two field offices (one in Morehead, Kentucky and one in Hazard, Kentucky); Serves as supervisor for two full-time community researchers and one part-time community researchers; Works with the Data Manager to ensure that data collection for and HIV, HCV, and syphilis testing protocols are maintained at a high quality and that the data is transferred appropriately for storage and analysis; Develops standard operating procedures and protocols for research projects in coordination with the Principal Investigator. Plans and directs team meetings, preparing agendas and data reports, and facilitating discussion; Presents and co-presents research findings to community groups. Attends quarterly CAP meetings and consults with project investigators to ensure best practices are followed.

Physical Requirements

Travel between clinic sites and UK Campus, working at a computer for extended periods of time, some possible lifting less than 25 pounds.



Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Primarily days with additional hours, including some on weekends, if needed.



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

MS Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe PDF, written and oral communication, collaborative attitude, professionalism, dependability, detail-oriented, organization, strong leadership skills

Within 1 month of hire, person must complete Certification in the Protection of Human Research Subjects (i.e., CITI) and certification in HIV testing and counseling

Driver's license highly preferred.
