SYSTEMS SUPPORT SPECIALIST II, College of Engineering, Administration (4595/E0917)
Perform a full range of system administration functions for the College of Engineering administrative and research groups across PC, Mac, and Linux systems. Be the point-of-contact for all IT related issues for the Biomedical Engineering Department. Manage the Biomedical Engineering Instructional laboratory, and provide in lab assistance to lab courses.
B.A./B.S., Experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems. Knowledge of complex software applications across all platforms. Knowledge of advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution techniques. Experience with Electronics benchtop equipment i.e. oscilloscopes, DAQ boards, function generators, and power supplies. Experience with programming in LabVIEW and Matlab would also be beneficial but not required. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. One to three years of related experience.
