The Criminal Justice Program invites applicants with expertise in international and/or domestic policing for a tenure-track position beginning September 1, 2018.


Candidates will be expected to teach in the B.A. and M.A. programs and must be able to teach core classes. Teaching load is three courses (12 credit hours) per semester. All candidates are expected to teach a general studies course every semester. Additional duties, including student advisement, are required as negotiated under the collective bargaining agreement.  Excellent teaching, strong scholarship, and service are expected.

All Stockton faculty are expected to demonstrate, through past accomplishments and actions, the ability to support Stockton University’s diversity commitment and strong student-centered vision and mission.

Minimum Qualifications:  Advanced ABDs in Criminal Justice or related field will be considered with the rank of Instructor until Ph.D. is completed.  Ph.D. expected by September 1, 2018.

Preferred Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or related field.

Salary Commensurate with experience.
