Research Assistant Professor - Division of General Internal Medicine

The Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.

The successful candidate will conduct and support health services and health policy research using the methods of statistics, sociology, demography, econometrics, or related disciplines that ultimately will be funded with external grants. Candidates should be skilled in advanced statistical techniques appropriate for the understanding of the interplay of social forces on health and health care. Examples include spatial statistics, hierarchical modeling, demography, and econometrics.
