Elmhurst College, a leading four-year college in the Chicagoland area that blends liberal learning and professional preparation, invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor of criminal justice with a background in criminological theories and research methods. Main teaching responsibilities include courses such as Introduction to Criminal Justice, Juvenile Delinquency, Criminology, Corrections, as well as upper division electives within the field. Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential is essential. The teaching load is six courses per year. Candidates should have a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body. A PhD required by December 1, 2017.
