Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Building & Grounds Supervisor/Superintendent, this position provides building management and maintenance activities. Work with other Facilities Maintenance Specialists, Facility Repair Workers and Building & Grounds Supervisors/Superintendents with maintenance activities at all Intercollegiate Athletics buildings. Act as a lead worker for under the direction of a Building & Grounds Supervisor/Superintendent with responsibilities in the maintenance and upkeep of the 460,000 square foot Kohl Center Facility. Install and maintain the ice sheet at the Kohl Center and LaBahn Area, including operating the ice resurfacer (Zamboni brand). It will also be necessary for the employee to be able to perform lifting (up to fifty pounds), shoveling duties, and be able to spend substantial time on their feet. The employee will work under limited supervision and therefore must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the building occupants. The employee will need to be available for night and weekend emergencies.

Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm with nights, weekends, and holidays as required by events.
