Job Summary/Basic Function:
The position is for an applicant with a background in special education. The successful candidate will be expected to immediately contribute to the continued development and success of the department through teaching and mentoring students. Instructional roles include teaching undergraduate and possibly Masters level courses in special education. The successful candidate will also be expected to assume leadership in the undergraduate program, and represent the discipline and department via committee participation and other relevant service activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Ph. D. in Special Education with evidence of teaching K-12 students with disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in higher education and web-based teaching.
