Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

The Darla Moore School of Business has approximately 47,000 living alumni worldwide. The Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement will be responsible for managing the Mentor program, coordinating the Young Alumni Board and developing and executing the Senior program. The candidate will also be responsible for the management of Moore Connect, which is the exclusive on-line alumni platform. Some travel to regional events will be required, as well as supporting other activities of the Office of Alumni Engagement.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience in an area such as alumni development, fundraising, prospect research, or business development.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, MentorcliQ). Ability to analyze data and formulate reports and strategies for engagement programs. Ability to effectively communicate and maintain relationships with alumni, faculty, staff, and students. Ability to build, oversee and maintain positive relationships with DMSB alumni and external stakeholders. Knowledge of various policies and procedures related to students services and volunteer programming. Ability to develop and provide oversight to various projects (project management). Knowledge of student services and alumni programs. Strong communicator, strong project management skills and ability to work independently and to make sound judgments is preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality as required related to student, alumni and volunteer information. Knowledge of the Millennium software is preferred.
