This position is responsible for the following infrastructure services: Wired and Wireless Networking, Including Firewalls, Load Balancers and VPNs, Unified Communications including Telephony and Video Conferencing. This position manages all operational and technical aspects of these services; requires continual awareness of the changing infrastructure needs, ensuring the current & future service requirements of customers are identified and documented; and markets the suite of infrastructure products to the various enterprise entities.

Infrastructure processes related to these technology areas will be owned by this role as well as coordinating the development and deployment of the services for ITS and other university departments. This position requires vendor selection and management that contributes to the success of these Infrastructure Services.
