MANAGER OF REGISTRATION & TECHNOLOGY, Events & Conferences (4273/B0817)
The Registration & Technology Services unit within Events & Conferences is responsible for the custom design of conference and event registration sites, websites, and individual conference housing reservations.
Key responsibilities include: consult with clients to determine event registration and website needs, develop and provide cost estimates, build and manage the event sites, oversee registration on-site support, and supervise support staff to ensure accurate and exceptional customer service.
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three years of work experience, with at least one year experience with either conference and event registration software and/or database management.
Must demonstrate: exceptional judgment, initiative, time management, the ability to produce high-quality work reflecting attention to detail and accuracy, tactful communication, interest and enthusiasm in working with technology, experience with WordPress, high level of professionalism with a focus on customer service, previous supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Knowledge of Boston University and/or other collegiate, local, and national conference and event services and facilities is preferred.
