Assistant Professor of Spanish
The Department of Foreign Languages at Coe College seeks to fill a tenure-track position in
Spanish at the level of assistant professor to begin August 2018. This position is part of the Mellon Faculty Fellows Program for a Diverse Professoriate. Candidates from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education are especially encouraged to apply.
The field of specialization is Latin American studies; the ability to significantly contribute to History or another non-language department or interdisciplinary program is required. The successful candidate will have completed the Ph.D. in Spanish at the time of appointment and have native fluency in Spanish. Preferred qualifications include experience teaching Spanish at all levels, including heritage students.
