Excelsior College, a regionally accredited, virtual, private, nonprofit institution of higher learning is seeking dynamic applicants for the position of Partnership Ambassador to work with the Strategic & Partnership Alliance team.


Summary


Working closely with our Regional Directors of Strategic Partners and Partnership Managers, the Partnership Ambassador will implement strategic engagement and communication plans that aim to build strong relationships with existing partners with a focus on recruiting students, developing relations with business managers, promoting Excelsior College, and initiatives. The Partnership Ambassador will facilitate outreach events such as webinars, student recruiting activities, and enrollment events with a focus on government employees, veterans, and our DC, Maryland & Virginia (DMV) academic, veteran, government, association and corporate partners.

This full time position is based in the DC metro area and will work closely with DMV team members as well as other partnership staff across the Country. The position requires travel on a regular basis. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently are a must.


Responsibilities

  • Execute engagement and communication plans developed by Regional Directors
  • Prepare and present to prospective students/training managers at our federal and DC government partners, academic (community college partners), association or corporate partners in the DMV on Excelsior College programs and services
  • Deliver webinars and other partner facing engagements
  • Meet and follow up with prospective students, provide preliminary reviews of transcripts as needed
  • Participate in outreach activities related to transfer/education and/or benefits fairs, recruiting events etc.
  • Assist with implementation of communications plans through Marketing, PR, and other associated departments for assigned portfolios
  • Become expert in Excelsior College's degree and non-degree programs as well as other Excelsior products and services
  • Update Salesforce® records for all assigned partners
  • Conduct administrative functions to support your assigned portfolio.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Experience in higher education, preferably with working adults is required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in admissions, academic advising, recruitment, articulation/transfer, continuing education, workforce development, and/or sales/business development
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel
  • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks while working independently in a home office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven track record in meeting goals and attaining desired outcomes
  • Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
  • Background with military and veterans a plus
