RESEARCH SPECIALIST C
Duties: The Research Specialist C will be involved in investigating the role of the inflammatory myeloid cells in the tumor microenvironment and the cellular and molecular mechanisms by which tumor modulate their immune functions in cancer patients and tumor-bearing mice. This individual is expected to conceive, participate in and perform experiments, data analysis, as well as independently manages the day-to-day operations of the lab in collaboration with Principal Investigator; maintain cell lines, primary cell culturing, performing flow staining, working with mouse models (i.v, i.p, s.c injection, tissue harvesting. Additional experiments include ELISA, DNA and RNA isolation, Multiplex (Luminex), evaluating tumoricidal activity of tumor-associated myeloid cells, time lapse microscopy,
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are required.
