Posting Summary:
The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) is seeking a part-time Undergraduate Student Coordinator to administer all aspects of the Engineering Science and MSE minor undergraduate programs. The Engineering Science program provides significant degree flexibility to engineering undergraduates and necessitates a detailed understanding of program requirements and options. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following: providing recruitment assistance and materials, advising and/or co-advising of Engineering Science majors, guiding student enrollment, tracking student progress, organizing ABET materials, event coordination, and post-graduation tracking. Event coordination includes recruitment nights, research symposia, awards, and graduation.

A High School diploma is required with 1-2 years of administrative experience. The successful candidate will have an interest and ability to interact with students, faculty, and staff, strong interpersonal, customer service, and writing skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
