Summary of Job Duties
The Administrative Specialist II is responsible for researching and preparing special reports, examining and verifying documents, and performing general office duties in the front office for the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice. This position will greet incoming visitors and answer incoming phone calls, giving information or transferring as appropriate. This position will maintain current and accurate information on faculty teaching schedules, classroom locations, and office hours to assist callers and visitors. The Administrative Specialist II also maintains the departmental webpage and assists in the preparation of the departmental display and newsletter. This position will perform other duties as assigned.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

- At least two years of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed
