The Sanders-Brown Center on Aging is looking for a self-motivated person to perform a wide variety of data management, analysis and reporting functions including coordinating all aspects of clinical research data entry for Alzheimer's Disease research, related studies, and select clinical trials.

The position will work closely with the Data Management Team, clinical staff, faculty, and researchers to effectively and efficiently meet their data reporting and quality control needs.

This position will be responsible for assisting in the facilitation of research data requests. This position will also be responsible for preparing research data for submission to the National Alzheimer's Disease Coordinating Center (NACC), which will include using NACC's web data entry system to upload, error check, and finalize data forms.

This position will also be responsible for maintaining the clinical biospecimens database, including relevant transaction data on all biospecimen collection records.

Data entry responsibilities will include processing clinical data forms, participant status update forms, neuropath forms, and autopsy registration forms.

Physical Requirements

Sitting for long periods of time; repetitive motion related to computer work. Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs; Standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

MS SQL, MS Access and MS Excel. Experience in SAS a plus.

The qualified candidate should be proficient in utilizing the MS SQL, MS Access and MS Excel platforms for data entry/management. Experience working with SAS software a plus.
