Restaurant General Manager
Colton's Steak House & Grill is well known for our hand-cut steaks, homemade yeast rolls, wild west themed, family restaurants We are currently seeking enthusiastic, team oriented individuals who share our passion for great tasting food and hospitality. The General Manager is responsible for the overall operations of their assigned restaurant. Key responsibility areas include team performance, overall guest satisfaction, increased sales and profitability, effective cost controls and development, training and retention of key employees. The Manager is responsible to work actively to ensure the restaurant meets financial and operating goals.
• Managing the daily operations of a full-service restaurant, to include the selection, development and performance of employees
• Overseeing inventory and ordering of food and supplies
• Ensuring that guests are satisfied with their dining experience
• Positively leading and supervising a team of 40+ employees
• Hours may vary weekly (typical work week = 50+ hours)
• Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level
• Prolonged standing, bending, lifting up to 45 pounds, and repetitive motions
• Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operating office equipment
• Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, food cost, catering, purchasing, sanitation, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping and preparation of reports
• Experience in the restaurant business from different positions, including dishwasher, busser, cook, prep and serving
• Knowledge of Labor Laws, Health Codes, Safe Food Handling and Sanitation, safety and security system procedures and computer operations
• Must agree to a background check
• Must possess valid driver's license
