CLINICAL RESEARCH AND OPERATIONS MANAGER, School of Medicine, Associate Provost (9028/I1217)
The Clinical Research and Operations Manager of the General Clinical Research Unit(GCRU) of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is an integral member of the GCRU/CTSI Management Team and has a dual role of responsibilities to include operations and research/clinical support.
Manages the clinical trial application process, provides clinical support to the nursing staff and to Study Coordinators, assists the Nurse Manager with protocol review and approvals, ensures compliance with BU, BMC and sponsor guidelines, oversees the billing process to ensure accurate invoicing, responsible for system related upgrades to WebCamp, the CTSI's system of record.
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring clinical and operational efficiency by providing administrative training & guidance, clinical support and works closely with the Nurse Manager to ensure the GCRU operates in an efficient and effective manner.
This position is grant funded.
1-3 years of experience and High School diploma required. Associate's or Vocational degree preferred.
