The Fiscal Support Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of fiscal related fiscal tasks that are standard or regular support duties within an assigned department or program. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Campus Card Assistant will administer the front desk area of the Campus Card Center as well as being responsible for issuance of all cards produced within the Campus Card Center, maintain meal plans, door/gate access, and financial accounts associated with the ASTATE Onecard, oversee part time student workers and other special projects.
In addition, this position will work with other departments in maintaining up to date door access for employees and students and provide reports as necessary to those departments.
Other duties as assigned or requested.
Knowledge of database accounting and management principles; applicable laws and regulations of assigned section; computers and software application programs and customer service techniques.
Ability to record fiscal data and manipulate data to generate complex reports/documents and conduct research and perform basic quantitative quality assurance reviews.
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Availability to work Student Move In Weekend in August

Ability to perform general accounting and manipulate data to generate complex reports and documents.
Applicants should be extremely well organized, detailed, and able to refocus quickly from multiple interruptions.
Demonstrated outstanding customer service experience and Accounting experience is preferred.
The formal education equivalent of a High School Diploma
Two (2) years of bookkeeping, basic accounting, billing, or related experience
Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
